The three-hour drive home from Comacchio is quite varied. Picturesque fishing villages, yacht harbors, fruit and vegetable stands, canals with typical net fishing and the few and far between farm houses in the mist (when not in the heavy fog) provide inviting photography opportunities.
Leaving the coast and the flat landscape, heading inland, the hills welcome us home as we near the Appenines on our way back to Umbria.
