ON OUR WAY TO VERONA – A STOP AT SIRMIONE ON LAKE GARDA
A slight drizzle greeted us at the lake (the only rain during the entire December week): it made our off-season visit even more charming as we ducked into an inviting cafè with a blazing fire where we enjoyed a thick hot chocolate
Off-season we could drive all the way on the long peninsula which stretches a few kilometers out into the mountain-bound lake. Shops, cafès and restaurants were all open due to the Christmas season.
