A Place I Love

There are few places I love as much as the small Alpine village of Moos, South Tyrol, in the Italian Dolomites, only 9 kilometers from the Austrian border.  We discovered it back in 1987 after searching for years for the ideal Alpine village, valley, altitude to escape the July heat… and view of the amazing Dolomites.

There are few other places where I feel the same overwhelming sense of well-being, inner peace and utter harmony with my surroundings.

This view, the hospitality and gourmet food of our hotel, the pristine valley and meadows, inspiring trails and walks, the many alpine lakes and alpine huts with their typical lunch specialties and the strongly felt, local traditions all contribute to a sense of total peace and serenity.
