We have an ongoing and very enjoyable collaboration with Duende Travel which organizes University Alumni Walking Tours around the world. Three times a year we have the privilege of hosting one of the groups for a Genius Loci wine and olive oil tasting and offering a place to relax and enjoy the beautifully prepared lunch by the organization. A few days ago, on a gorgeous Indian summer day, we hosted a group from Stanford. Most of the guests were from and still live in California, some even had offspring who went to Williams and Yale with Mar, some knew my neighborhood in Long Beach.
