Never have there been so many wildflowers on the Grand Piano di Castelluccio above Norcia in August! It was a magnificent surprise Saturday when we drove up to enjoy a picnic of Norcia prosciutto on a fresh baguette, Castelluccio sheep’s milk ricotta…and a bottle of our Genius Loci Sagrantino DOCG wine.
What a treat it was to be in the midst of this beauty, undisturbed, caressed by warm breezes and summer temperatures.
